These days, peoples use pens and pencils for writting less. In the past, everybody haved to write withby hand, but these days many type with a keyboard instead. There isare some reasons for this change, which will be discussed. I will also examine ifwhether this is a good or bad thing overall. The main reaison people write less by hand these days is technologyical development. Everyone haves a computer, laptop, or smartphone available for typing. Thisese devices isare faster and easier thean writeing with a pen. Also, if you make a mistake, it can be easier to fix on screen than on paper. Another reason is that many documents need to be in digital formeat these days, for example, sending emails or submitting essays online. Writeing by hand and then scanning takes too much time, so people avoid it. Fineally, typing has become a more common skill, so people get practice in that area while handwriting skills decline. For thisese reasons, handwriting is happening less and less. In my opinion, the decline of handwriting haves both positive and negative effects. On the one hand, it allows people to communicate and produce documents more efficient. Cly. They can share writeten work electronically and edit easily, saveing time. AIt also reduces the use of paper, which is good for the environment. However, there are downsides too. People rely on autocorrect and may loose important cognitive skills like spelling, and grammar. Cursive writeing is an art form and part of cultureal heritage, which is sad to see disappear. Most importantly, there is a risk of loosing the ability to write completely if technology fails or does not work. In conclusion, Sseveral reasons exist why writing by hand has become a rare activity, mostly related to technological development that makes type moreing faster and more conevenient. While havthere are some advantages, I beliefve it is still important to maintain handwriting skills, both for mindental excercizse and as a backup communication method. SWe should find a balance between old and new ways, not abandoning it completely.

Expert Feedback

The essay demonstrates a clear understanding of the task, addressing the decline of handwriting and discussing both its positive and negative aspects. Key strengths include a logical structure with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion, as well as a relevant topic. However, critical areas for improvement include grammatical accuracy, spelling, and the need for more detailed examples to support the arguments. Structural changes made include correcting grammatical errors, improving coherence with better transitions, and enhancing clarity in phrasing. Suggestions for further improvements not implemented in the corrected version include providing specific examples or personal experiences to strengthen the arguments and expanding on the discussion of the cultural significance of handwriting. The tone used is appropriate for an academic essay, maintaining a formal and objective style throughout.

Detailed Scores

Coherence And Cohesion
The essay has a basic structure with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, the flow of ideas is occasionally disrupted by awkward phrasing and unclear transitions. For example, the phrase 'for this reasons' should be 'for these reasons.' To improve coherence, the writer could use more cohesive devices and ensure that each paragraph logically follows from the previous one.
5.0
Grammatical Range And Accuracy
The essay contains numerous grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues (e.g., 'peoples use' should be 'people use'), incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'have to write' should be 'had to write'), and awkward sentence structures. While the writer attempts to use complex sentences, the frequent errors hinder clarity. To improve, the writer should focus on grammatical accuracy and sentence structure.
4.5
Lexical Resource
The vocabulary used is generally appropriate, but there are several spelling errors (e.g., 'writting,' 'positiv,' 'cognitiv,' 'disapear') and some repetitive phrases (e.g., 'write by hand'). The writer demonstrates an attempt to use varied vocabulary, but the errors detract from the overall effectiveness. To improve, the writer should proofread for spelling mistakes and aim to use a wider range of synonyms.
5.0
Task Achievement
The essay addresses the task by discussing reasons for the decline in handwriting and presents both positive and negative aspects of this trend. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited, and the arguments could be more thoroughly elaborated with specific examples. For improvement, the writer could provide more detailed examples or personal experiences to support their points.
