Many countries have compulsory military service for young men after they leave school. It would be a good idea for all countries to adopt this system for men, and possibly for women too. Do you agree or disagree with this statement?

I am agree with the statement that all country should adopt compulsory military servise for young men and women after they leave school. There are several reason for this opinion. Firstly, compulsary military service can help to build discipline and teamwork skills in young people. When they are in the military, they have to follow strict rules and work together with others to achieve common goals. This can be very valuabel experience for them, and can help them to develop important life skills that they can use in their future careers. Secondly, military servise can also help to promote national unity and patriotism. When young people from different parts of the country come together to serve in the military, they can learn to appreciate the diversity of their nation and develop a sense of pride in their country. This can help to create a more cohesive and harmonious society. Finally, having a large and well-trained military can also be important for national security. In today's world, there are many potential threats to peace and stability, and having a strong military can help to deter aggression and protect the country's interests. By requiring young people to serve in the military, countries can ensure that they have a ready supply of trained and disciplined soldiers who are prepared to defend their nation if necessary. In conclusion, I strongly believe that compulsory military service for young men and women is a good idea for all countries. It can help to build important life skills, promote national unity, and enhance national security. While there may be some challenges in implementing such a system, I believe that the benefits would outweigh the costs in the long run.

Some students work while studying. This often results in lacking time for education and constantly feeling under pressure. What do you think are the causes of this? What solutions can you suggest?

Nowadays, many studentis are working while they studying. This leads to lack of the time and pressure in their lifes. There are several reasons behind this situasion which i will discuss in this assay. I will also suggest some solution to address this issu. One of the mean reasons why students work during their study is financial problams. Many students come from poor families and they have to work to support themselfs and their educations. Another reason is to gain some work experience. Students believe that having a job will help them to find a better job after graduasion. In addition, some students work because they want to be independant and not rely on their parents for money. To address this problem, i think universities should offer more financial support to students who needs it. This can be in the form of scholarships or lones with low interest rates. Governments should also provide more funding for educasion to reduce the financial burdon on students. Another solution is for universities to offer flexible study options, such as part-time courses or online lerning. This will allow students to balance their work and study commitmants more easily. In conclusian, financial difficulties and the desire for work experience are the main reasons why students work while studying. To solve this problem, universities and the governments should provide more financial support and flexible study options. This will help students to focus on their educasion without feeling under pressure.

Government should spend money on railways rather than roads. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

In this days, government are investing more and more money into transportation infrastructure liek railways and roads. There are many person who think government should spend moneys on railways rather than on road. I agree with this opinion, and in this easy, i will explain why i think that is true. Firstly, railways is much more efficient than roads when it come to transporting large numbers of people. Train can carry hundreds, or even ten hundreds of passengers at once, while car can only carry a few person at a time. This make railways a much more efficient way to transport person, especially in big citys where there are lot of people who need to travel. By investing in railways, government can help to reduce traffic jam and make it easier for person to get around. Secondly, railways are more environment friendly than roads. Car produce a lot of pollution, which is bed for environment and can cawse health problems for person who live in citys. On the other hand, train is powered by electricity, which is much cleaner and more environment friendly. By investing in railways, government can help to reduce air pollution and improve the health of their citizens. In conclusion, I strongly agree that government should spend money on railways rather then roads. Railways is more efficient and environment friendly than roads, and investing in them can help to reduce traffic jam, improve air quality, and make it eazier for people to travel. While roads are still important, I believe that railways should be a top priority for governments.

It is important for people to take risks, both in their professional lives and their personal lives. Do you think the advantages of taking risks outweigh the disadvantages?

In modern life, peoples are facing many decisions that involve risks in both their professional lives and personal lives. While taking risks can lead to potenshial benefits, it is also important to consider the possible disadvantages. In my opinion, the advantages of taking risks outweigh the disadvantages in some cases, but not in all situashions. On the one hand, taking risks can be beneficial in several ways. Firstly, it can lead to new opportunities and experiences that might not be available otherwise. For example, if someone takes a risk by starting their own business, they may have the chance to be their own boss and potenshially earn more money than they would as an employee. Additionally, taking risks can help individuals grow and develop personally and professionally. By stepping out of their comfort zone and trying new things, people can learn new skills, gain confidence, and become more resilient. On the other hand, taking risks can also have significant disadvantages. One of the main drawbacks is the potenshial for failure or loss. When someone takes a risk, there is always a chance that things may not turn out as planned, which can lead to financial losses or emotional distress. For example, if an individual invests all of their savings in a risky business venture and it fails, they may face significant financial hardship. Moreover, taking risks can be stressful and may lead to feelings of anxiety or uncertainty, which can negatively impact mental health and well-being. In conclusion, while taking risks can lead to potenshial benefits, it is important to carefully consider the potential disadvantages as well. In my opinion, the advantages of taking risks may outweigh the disadvantages in some cases, such as when the potenshial rewards are high and the risks are calculated and manageable. However, in other situashions, the potential drawbacks may be too significant to justify taking the risk. Ultimately, the decision to take a risk should be based on an individual's personal circumstances and goals.

Public transportation is being used more and more by people today. Some say that using public transportation is better than driving a car for both individuals and society as a whole. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

In today's world, the usage of public transportations are becoming increasingly popular. There is some people who believe that taking public transport is more better than driving a car, both for people and society overall. In my opinion, I am agree with this view to a large extent. Firstly, using public transportations can has many benefits for individuals. When we take the bus or train, we don't need to focus on the road and can instead relax, read, or do working. This can makes our commute time more productive and less stressful. Additionally, public transports is usually cheaper than owning and maintaining a car. This extra money can be using for other things like food or entertainment. Secondly, public transportation is much better for societal as a whole. When more people take bus and trains, there is less cars on the road. This leads to reduced traffic congestion and traffic jams, which saves everyone's time. More importantly, fewer cars mean lower air pollutions and greenhouse gas emissions. This has a major positive impacts on the environment and helps to combating climate change. Public transport also encourages walking and and makes cities more livable and walkable. In conclusion, i strongly agree that using public transportations has significant advantages over driving cars for both individuals persons and society overall. Not only does it save money and reduce stress for people, it also has critically environmental and social benefits. Governments should continue investing in public transportation infrastructure to encouraging more citizens to make the switch.

"Our lifestyles are less healthy than our grandparents'"

I do agree peoples lifestyles have become even worse compared before with grandparents. There are some reasons for this I think. Firstly, the lifestyle these days is more busy. People have to working long hours to making money. So they have not enough time to cooking fresh food and excersize. Instead of these peoples eat fastfood and junkfood which is unhealthy and makes them fat. Also they just watch TV or using computer in free time and don't do physical activity. But in past, grandparents had more time and worked less hours. They also had to do more physical working like in farms or factorys. Other reason is there is more technology now compared than before. This makes life very easy for us. We don't need to walk anywhere, we can just take car or bus or train. Also we can order food delivery using apps in phone. So we don't have to go out. This means we are not active and just sit all the day. But for grandparents, there was not this technology. They had to walk a lot to go somewhere or had to go to shops to buy food. Walking is more healthy than sitting. In conclusion, I believe our life is worse than grandparents because we have unhealthy eating from junk food. And technology makes us not do enough physical activity. To be more healthy we need to eat home cooked meals and also walk more ofter in day.

"Drivers should be charged for using roads linking major towns and cities."

In modern day, peoples uses roads for transportations from city to city and town to towns. Some says that drivers must pay fees for using this road network. I agree for this statement because of many reasons. First of all, fees from roads can be used to maintenence and build new roades. If people use roades every day, roads become damaged and need repair. Colleting money from users can finance this activity. Additionaly, in future, more road will be needed to connect new city. Road fees can also pay for building of this new routes. Other reason is reduce trafic and polution. When people have to paying for using road, they will think carefully before driving. Maybe they will choose public transport like bus or train instead of car. This lead to less car on road, and so trafic jam and air polution will be lower. It is good for envirenment and also for peoples health. In conclusian, i strongly believe charging drivers for use of connecting roades between town and citys is a good idea. It provides necesary funds for road maintanance and constructian, while also discouraging overuse of privat vehicles which cause trafic and polute the air. Government should implement this policy for the benifit of society and enviranment.

It is better to buy just a few expensive clothes, rather than lots of cheaper clothes. Do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

I agree that to buy few expensive clothes it's better then lots of cheaper clothes. Expensive clothes from important design are often from better quality materials like pure cotton and real silk. This materials can last for long time, even years, if you take care them. Cheaper clothes loose colors and get demaged faster with many wash. Their also often contain not natural material like polyester which i dont prefer to touch my body. It's better to buy only what really need, even if costs more money. My mother always say "quality over quantity". When i was younger kid, i want many dresses and T-shirts in different colours but after short time, many have holes or not look good anymore. Now as adult, I buy only necessary things that match together well so not need so many pieces. Expensive clothes also give confident. People look to you different when wear nice outfit. In job interview, first empression is important. Good suit or dress shoe real leather tell that you put effort and have tast. But cheap clothes from low quality dont make same empression even if they new. Of course need to be reasonable with money. Designer stuff not always necessary and can find good quality without big name. But overall, my opinion is better to choice carefully and invest in less pieces that make happy longer. This also help environment by consume less. Fast fashion industry create a lot of garbarage.

Companies now make computer games designed to help very young children learn. The games are advertised for use by children aged 2 to 8 years and often involve basic math and reading skills, presented in a fun, game-like style. Some people say that this results in children spending too much time looking at computer screens. Do you think it's a good idea for very young children to play educational computer games? Why or why not?

Nowadays, technology is everywhere. Even for the very small kids too. Companies are creating educational computer games, which aims to teach children from young as 2 years old with basic math and reading. These games are advertized for being both fun and learn at same time. However, some peoples are worried about it. They says that it make children look at screen too long. Staring at computer all the day. Children should be playing outside instead, running around and making new friends. Not getting addicted for video games at such small age. In my opinion, educational computer games are okay, but only in small amounts. For example one hour per day. Company should put time limit in the game. So children not spending too many hours playing it. Parents also need to control usage for their childrens. The games itself can be benefit, because it teach maths and reading in interesting way for kids. It can help them get head start before primary school. But in moderation only. Children still must go outside and interact with real world. Or else they will have trouble communicating with another people. In conclusion, i believe educational game is fine, but only little bit per day. Children need to learn from computer, but more important, they need socialize and be active. Moderate use of technology combine with lots of outdoor play is the best for young children development.

In the future all cars, buses, and trucks will be driverless. The only people traveling inside these vehicles will be passengers. Do you think the advantages of driverless vehicles outweigh the disadvantages?

In my opinion, the advantages of driveless vehicles are more than disadvantages. One reason is because it can reduces accidents on the road. With driveless cars, human error can be eliminated and less people will be hurts or die from car crashes. Driveless vehicles have sensors and cameras to detect obstacles and make quick decisions to avoid collisions, which humans sometimes fail to do, especially when they are tire or distract. Another advantages is convenience. People can use their time in the car to do other things like working, reading, or relaxing instead of focus on driving. This is especially beneficial for long trips or daily commutes in heavy traffic. Driveless cars can also provide transportation for people who cannot drive themself, such as elderly, disabled, or children. However, there are also some disadvantages to consider. One concern is the cost. Driveless vehicles are likely to be more expensive than traditional cars, at least initially. The technology required for driveless cars, such as sensors, software, and computing power, is costly to develop and produce. This means that not everyone may able to afford a driveless car, which could lead to inequity in transportation access. Another potential drawback is the loss of jobs. If all vehicles become driveless, many jobs in the transportation industry, such as taxi, truck, and bus drivers, could become obsolete. This could result in significant job losses and economic disruption in some sectors and regions. In conclusion, while there are both advantages and disadvantages to driveless vehicles, I believe that the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. The improved safety, convenience, and increased mobility for non-drivers are significant advantages. However, steps should be taken to address potential issues such as cost and job displacement to ensure that the transition to driveless vehicles is smooth and equitable for all members of society.

Children are facing more pressures nowadays from academic, social and commercial perspectives. What are the causes of these pressures and what measures should be taken to reduce these pressures?

In today world, children facing a lot of pressure coming from many different parts of life like school, friends and even companies who want to sell things to them. There is more pressure than before times I think. This essay will discussing about the reasons why has this problem and how can we solve it. One biggest cause of pressure is from academic, children must study so many subject in school and always worrying about exam and getting good grade. If child not study enough, parents will scold them and they feel ashamed. Also tuition class very popular, some students go for tuition class everyday so become very tired. Another cause is social media, children nowadays always on Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and compare themself to other people, very easy to feel not good enough. Even small children also got handphone and use social media. Lastly, many company advertise product to children like toy, game, fastfood and make them want to buy, if cannot buy then feel sad. To reduce this problem pressure, I think firstly parents and teacher must not push children so much to study and get high marks. Children need time to play and relax, always study is not good for health and mind. Secondly, parents should control how much time children use social media and handphone, maybe set limit like only can use 1 hour every day. Government also can make rule to stop company from advertise too much to children. In conclusion, pressure on children come from few main cause like study, social media and advertisement. This make children stress and not happy. Parents, school and govern should take action, for example give children more free time, limit internet and handphone use, control advertisement. Only then children can have more healthy and enjoy life.

"Mothers play key roles in the upbringing of children. But in recent times both parents are getting busy with professional life. Who in your opinion should take the responsibility of child care now?" Give your opinion in no less than 250 words.

In recent times, the responsbility of bringing up children has become a big question. In past, mothers were usully responsible for take care of children and their upringing. However, now both the parents are gettin busy with their professional lifes and careers. In my opinion, I think both the parents should take equal responsblty of child care. Firstly, in modern times, both the parents are working and earning for family. They both are equally responsible for financial needs of family. Therefore, they should also take equal responsblty of taking care of children. It is not fair to put all the burden on one parent, especially mother. Both parents should share the duties of child care, such as feeding, bathing, playing with children, and helping with their homwork. Secondly, children need love and attention from both the parents. They need to feel that both their parents love them equally and are always there for them. If only one parent is taking care of them all the time, they may feel neglected by other parent. This can affect their emotional development and relationship with that parent. Therefore, it is important that both parents spend quality time with their children and take active role in their upbringing. Lastly, taking care of children is a full-time job and can be very tiring and stressful. If only one parent is doing it all the time, they may get exhausted and frustrated. This can lead to negative impact on their own health and well-being, as well as on their relationship with children. By sharing the responsibilities, both parents can support each other and reduce the stress and burden of child care. In conclusion, I strongly believe that both parents should take equal responsibility of child care in today's times. It is important for the well-being of both the parents and the children. Both parents should work together as a team to provide love, care, and attention to their children and ensure their proper upbringing.

"By investing in tourism we can earn a lot of revenue and growth in national economy. At the same time it destroys the local culture. What is your opinion?" Give your opinion in no less than 250 words.

Nowadays, many contries invest a lot of money to tourism sector, to earn revenues and for grow economy. With this investment often comes effects to culture in places where tourism become larger part of life. In my opinion, tourism can have many positive benefit but must be managed carefully to not destroy local culture and practices. On one hand, tourism can bring many economic benefit to contry. It can create many jobs for local people, in hotel, transportation, tour company, and other services. This means more money flow in the economy, and peoples have more work. Also, goverment get more tax money, that can be spent on things like school, road, health care. So tourism is good way for developing country to earn more and improve life of citizens. But there also negatives apsects of tourism on culture, if it not done properly. When tourist visiting small villages and places, they bring they own ways of do things. Local people, especialy young people, may start to copy tourists, and slowly local traditions become lost. Also, if too many tourist come to same place, it become crowded and noisy, and may lose it special identity. For example, beatiful beach that used to be quiet and peacful now is full of hotel and many people. Is not same anymore. To prevent negative inpact on culture, i think goverments must plan tourism development carefuly. They must think about how many tourists an area can handle, and not allow too many hotel or other building to be built. They must also work to educate both local peoples and tourists, to respect and preserve unique culture. In this way, the economic benefit of tourism can be achive, without destroy what make place special. In conclusion, i believe that investing to tourism is good way for countries to grow economy and create work. But it must be done with care and planing, to ensure that local culture and traditions not lost in proces. Only then can tourism truely benefit all involved.

Write about the following topic: Some people believe that allowing children to make their own choices on everyday matters (such as food, clothes and entertainment) is likely to result in a society of individuals who only think about their own wishes. Other people believe that it is important for children to make decisions about matters that affect them. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion. Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience. Write at least 250 words.

Some people think that when children can choose themselves about everyday things like what to eat, wear or do for fun, it will make them only care about what they want. Others believe its important for kids to decide on things that impact them. I will discussing both sides of this issue and share my perspective. On the 1 hand, if children are always allowed to make they're own choices about food, clothing and activities, they may become self-centered individual who dont consider the needs of others. For example, if child only eats junk foods and refuses healthy meals, it can affect there health and create problems for the family. Allowing children to always follow they're preferences without guidance, can lead to them not learning to think about consequences or how there actions affect others peoples. However, I believe it is also importent for children to have some autonomy in decision-making as it helps them develop into independent, responsible adulthood. Making choices and learning from mistakes is part of the maturation process. If parents make all choices for there kids, the children may struggle in later life when they need to think for themself. For instants, choosing there own clothes can help children express themselves and build confidence. In my opinion, the best approach is to find a balance where children can make some decisions but with adult guidance when needed. Parents can give limited options that are all acceptable, like letting the child choose between 2 healthy snacks. As children demonstrate good judgment, they can be given more freedom in they're choices. It's about helping childs learn to make responsible decisions, not letting them do whatever they want. In conclusion, while its true that only letting kids do what they like can make them selfish, its also importent to let them make some choices. The key is giving them chances to choose but with support and limit from parents. This helps build the skills needed for independent adults who thinks of others, not just what they want.

WRITING TASK 1 You should spend about 20 minutes on this task. The diagram below shows how geothermal energy is used to produce electricity. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. Write at least 150 words.

The diagram is shown the process of geothermal energy for make electricity. It has five main steps and start from underground. First, the cold water is pumped down to ground using injection well. This water go very deep under earth surface and is heated by hot rocks. This cause the water to become steam. The hot steam then rises up through well to the surface. This steam is then used to power turbine at geothermal power plant. The turbine is connected to generator, which convert mechanical energy of turbine into electric energy. After the steam has passed by turbine, it is cooled in cooling tower. The cooling tower condense the steam back into water. This water is then pumped again into ground to repeating the cycle. In summary, geothermal energy uses heat from earth to produce electricity through a five step process. The process is looping, as cold water is continous pumped underground, heated to steam, used to generating electricity, and cooled again. This allow to constant supply of renewable energy.
