The situasion is that my nieghbor has been listening to very loud music late at night, often past midnight or even 1am in the morning. This loud music so late has been making it very dificult for me to sleep. I am losing sleep nearly every night because the music is so loud, it is hard for me to fall asleep. Even with earplugs I can still hear the music and it keeps me awake. Losing sleep like this every night is starting to effect my health and my work because I am always feeling very tired. I think maybe a good solution would be if you can talk to my neighbor or maybe send a letter to remind him about the rules for noise at night. The lease agreement says residents need to be quite after 10pm I think. If he is reminded about this rule, maybe he will turn down his music or stop listening so late. Or if the provlem continues, maybe you give him a warning or fine. I would really apreciate if you can please help with this problem. I am a good tenant but this situasion with my neighbor is making it very hard to live hear. Please let me know if you have any questions or need any other informations. Some people think that the increase in international travel has a negative impact on the environment and should be restricted. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Nowadays, more and more people is traveling globaly for tourism and busines. Some think this trend has detrimental effect on our environment that need to be limited. I partly agree with this opinion. On one hand, the grow of international travel brings some positive outcomes to people and socities. First, travel broadens individuals mind. When people go abroad they can learn new cultures, trying local food, meet foreign people and go to famous attractions. All of these things make traveller be more opened mind. Secondly, tourism promotes economy. When travellers visiting a place, they spend alot of money on hotels, restaurants and souvenirs, that local bussness and people can earn more money from tourist. So international travel has some benefits On other hand, the surge in global travel does have some negative effect to the environment. More travel means more airplane, that emit carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide causes global warming by traping heat in earth. Global warming leads sea level rise, more extreme weather and destroying ecosystem. All these affects people and planet badly. Moreover, more tourist means more hotels. Some hotels in natural area destroy forest. Forest are home of many animals, when forest destroyed, animals has no place to live. So international travel sometimes harms the earth. In conclusion, globle travel does bring some economical and social benefits, but also has damaging affects on the environment. I think the government should making some restrictions, but not too much. For example, tourist number to a place can be limited on busy days. People shoud also travel responsibly to not to make the enviromental impacts worsen.
Some people believe that individuals over the age of 65 should not be permitted to vote in elections. Do you agree or disagree with this viewpoint? Explain your position and provide relevant examples to support it.
I not agree with the viewpoint that older people over 65 years old should not have permission to vote. In my view, every person who is citizens, no matter their age, have the right to participate in the democrat process. This is because they have many years of experience and knowings about the world and society, which can be valueable for make decisions that affect everyone. One reason I think this is because many older peoples have lot of wisedom and perspectives that they gain from living for long time. They knowing about the history and how things have change over many years. This kind of knowings is important to consider when voting on leaders and policies that will shape the futur. Just because someone is old, it don't mean their opinions is not matter. In fact, their insight can provide a balanced and informed view when it coming to making choice in elections. Furthermore, not let older people vote would be discrimination based on age. In most countries, it is considering a basic human right for all adult citizen to have say in the govern process. Exclude a group just because of their age is not fair or equal treatment. It would be like saying their voices and needs don't count, which is not right thing in a democratic societys. Of course, some might arguing that very old people may have decline in mental ability or health issues which affect their judgement. However, this can happen to peoples of any ages, not just elders. The solution is not to take away the vote rights completely, but maybe to have a way of evaluating if someone is of sound mind to make decision. Most people over 65 are still capable to understand political issues and make rationale choice. In conclusion, while I understanding the concerns, I strongly believe every citizen have the rights to vote, regardless of age. The experience and wiseness of older generation is value to society and they deserves to have their say in elections like anyone else. It is matter of equality and respect for all peoples in democracies. The key is finding fair way to ensure all voters are of able mind to make choice, rather than discriminate based on age alone.
Some people believe that visitors to other countries should follow local customs and behavior. Others disagree and think that the host country should welcome cultural differences. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
Some persons think that if visit other country must do same like locals do. For example eat what they eat, and wear same clothings and do things like they done every day for theys lifes. I agree with this view becose it shows respect for the place which is visit to by foreign person. When local person see that tourist try to do like they does, they will think this tourist have good manners and want to understan our life, it not make sence for them to keep own ways only. Other body says that when tourist come, local people must like what tourist do even if diferent. I disgree to this becose it make local person not have own identity, and tourist should find out about new place self instead of want all place same like own country. Sometim tourist make problem by doing things which consider rude in host country, this can make local person very angry to tourist and maybe not want to help tourist. So tourist shuld be very carefull when visit other place and try understan the local way. For me I belive that tourist need to adjus own behavior when go to other country, but not have to do everything 100% like local. Just make sure to reseerch befor go and find out what is ok and not ok to do, so no make big problem for local. Local person should uderstan small diference, but if big diference then can make difficulty for everyone. Therfore i think tourist should try to do like local mostly and only keep own way for small things or do alone in hotel, not public place. So that is my view on this issue with visit other country.

You should spend about 40 minutes on this task. Write about the following topic: In some parts of the world, an increasing number of students are using electronic devices such as tablets and laptops in the classroom for their studies. Do the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience. Write at least 250 words.
These days, in many country, more and more student are using electronic device like tablet and laptop computer in the classroom to learn. I think this development have both advantage and disadvantage, but overall the good thing about it is more than the bad thing. On the one hand, electronic device can make learning more interesting and interactive for student. For example, instead of just listening to teacher talk or reading from textbook, student can watch video, play educational game, and do online exercise using their tablet or laptop. This can help them stay more engaged and motivated in class. Electronic device also allow student to access a lot of information and resource very quickly and easily, which can help them learn better and faster. On the other hand, there are some potential problem with using too much technology in the classroom. One concern is that it can be a distraction for student. If they are spending too much time playing game or chatting with friend online, they might not pay enough attention to the lesson or do their work properly. Another issue is that not all student may have access to the same technology or know how to use it well, which can create inequality in the classroom. In conclusion, while there are both benefit and drawback to student using electronic device in class, I believe that overall it is a positive development. As long as teacher set clear rule and guideline for how and when to use technology, and make sure all student have equal access and support, I think it can greatly enhance the learning experience and outcome for student in the modern world.
Some people think that parents should teach children how to be good members of society. Others, however, believe that school is the place to learn this. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
It is a fact that parents plays a huge role in there child life. They are the first teacher for childrens and they have a big influsense on them. Parents should teach there children how to behave in society and be a good person. This is because parents knows there children best and can teach them in a way that they will understand. On other hand, some people believes that school is the best place for children to learn about society. This is because in school, children can interact with other childrens from different backgrounds and learn to live together. Also, teachers are trained to teach children about important thing in life, like respecting others and being kind. In my opinion, I think that both parents and school have a important role to play in teaching children about society. Parents should teach there children basic manner and how to behave at home, while school can teach children how to interact with others and be a good citizen. It is important for parents and school to work together to help children grow up to be good member of society. To sum up, while parents and school both have a role to play in teaching children about society, I believe that they need to work hand in hand. Parents should lay the foundation at home, while school can build on this and teach children important life lesson. Only by working together can we ensure that children grow up to be responsible and contributing member of society.
Do you agree that people should choose jobs based on salary rather than personal interests?
I am thinking that the salary of job is more importanter than interest of personnal. Firstly, if you have high pay job, you can have good life and happy. You can buy many thing you want and need, like food, clothes, house, and car. You can also travel and enjoy life. If you have low pay job, even if you like it, you will struggle to live and not be happy. Secondly, I think that most people work for money, not for fun or interest. They need money to support themself and their family. They need money to pay for living cost like rent, bill, and food. If they do not have enough money, they will have many problem and stress. They will not enjoy their life or job, even if they like it. In conclusion, I believe that salary is more important than personal interest when choosing job. High pay job can provide better life and less stress. Low pay job, even if you like it, can cause many problem and unhappy. Most people work for money, not for fun or interest. Therefore, I agree that people should choose job base on salary instead of versatile.
Some people believe that children should be banned from using their phones during the school day. Others believe that children should be allowed to use their phones. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
In todays world, many children have their own smartphones. Some people think that phone should not be allowed to use by children at school during day time. Others argue that they should be allowed. I will eximine both points and provide my opinion. On the one side, there are some good reasons for not allow children use phone in school day. Firstly, phones can be big distraction. Instead of listen to teacher and study, children may play games or send text messages with friends. This harms there education. In addition, if children look phone screen too much, it can hurt their eyes and make bad for health. On the other hand, having phone at school have some benefits too. In case of emergency like fire or crime, children can quickly call for help if have phone with them. Also, they can call their parents if need get picked up early or something happens. Sometimes phone is useful for study, like looking up information in internet for project. In my opinion, I believe a balance approach is best. Childrens should be allow bring phones to school, but only use during break times and lunch, not during lessons. Teachers can collects phones at start of class to avoid the distraction. This let childrens have phone if really needed, but focus on study during most of day. In conclusion, while phone can cause problems in school if use too much, banning completely has negatives too. I believe allowing limited use of phone is ideal solution. Schools should make clear rule about this and enforce properly.
The best way to solve the world's environmental problems is to increase the price of fuel. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
I partly agree that increasing fuel prices could help solve environmental problems, but I think there are other solutions we need to think about too. First of all, when fuel becomes more expensive, people start to think twice about using their cars so much. In my country, many people take their car even for going small distances, but if they must pay more money for fuel, they will probably choose to walk or use bicycle instead. Also, when companies have to pay more for transportation costs, they might look for ways to make their business more efficient, which helps environment too. However, making fuel more expensive has some problems that we need to consider. One big issue is that it makes life harder for people who don't earn much money. For example, people who live in countryside often need car to get to work because there isn't good public transport, and higher fuel prices make their life more difficult. Furthermore, when fuel prices go up, the prices of many other things also become higher because companies need to pay more to transport their products. I believe we need different approaches to solve environmental problems. Government should invest more money in public transportation so people have good alternatives to using cars. They should also give support to companies that develop clean energy solutions. For instance, if solar panels become cheaper, more people will want to use them. Additionally, education about environmental issues is very important because when people understand the problems better, they make better choices. In conclusion, while increasing fuel prices might help reduce pollution, I think this solution alone is not enough and could cause problems for some people. We need to combine different solutions, like better public transport, clean energy technology, and environmental education to solve these problems effectively.
"The most important aim of science should be to improve people's lives. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?"
I strongly agree that making people's lives better should be the main goal of science. In my opinion, while other goals are also important, helping humans live better lives is what science must focus on most. I will explain my thoughts about this topic in the following paragraphs. First of all, science has already made our lives much better in many ways. When I look at medical research, I see how it helps sick people get healthy again. For example, doctors found new medicines that make people feel good when they are ill, and they also made vaccines that stop us from getting sick. This shows how science can do good things for humans. Also, when scientists work hard to make new technologies, they make our daily life more easy and comfortable. Another reason why I think science should focus on improving life is because there are still many problems in the world that need to be fixed. Many people don't have enough food to eat, and some places don't have clean water. If scientists work on these problems, they can help make life better for these people who need help. I believe that when scientists make new discoveries, they should think about how their work can help solve these important problems that make life difficult for many people. However, I also think that some people might say that science should focus on learning new things about the world, even if it doesn't help people right away. While I understand this idea, I still believe that making life better for humans is more important. Even when scientists learn new things about space or atoms, they should think about how this knowledge can help make our lives better in the future. In conclusion, I strongly believe that science's main purpose should be to improve human lives. While discovering new things about our world is interesting, helping people live better lives is more important. Scientists should always think about how their work can make life better for everyone.
Some people think that competitive sports have a positive effect on the education of teenagers while others argue that the effect is negative. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
In today's world, there are different opinions about how competitive sports affect teenagers' education. While some people believe it helps students develop better, others think it can make problems for their studies. I will discuss both sides and share what I think about this topic. On one side, competitive sports can bring many good things to teenagers education. When I was in high school, I saw how my friends who played in school teams learned to manage their time better because they needed to do both study and practice. They also learned important things like working together with team members and trying hard to reach their goals. These skills helped them not just in sports but also in their studies, and I think this made them better students. However, other people say competitive sports can make problems for education. Sometimes students spend too much time practicing and playing games, and this means they don't have enough time to study or do homework. For example, my cousin who played football had to miss many classes because of competitions, and his grades became not so good. Also, if students get injured during sports, they might need to stay at home and miss school. In my opinion, I think competitive sports can be good for education if we find the right balance. When schools make good schedules that give time for both sports and studies, students can get benefits from both. I believe sports teach teenagers important things they cannot learn just from books, like how to deal with winning and losing, and how to work hard for what they want. To conclude, while competitive sports can make some difficulties for students' education, I think the positive effects are more important if we manage it well. Schools should help students find good balance between sports and studies, so they can get all the good things from both activities.
The line graph illustrates the number of visits to and from the United Kingdom between 1979 and 1999, while the bar graph presents the most popular destinations visited by UK residents in 1999.
Looking at these graphs, we can see interesting information about how British people travel and how many people come to visit UK. The first graph show two lines that go up over twenty years, and second graph tell us where UK people like to go most. From line graph, it is clear that both visits to and from UK have increased a lot between 1979 and 1999. In 1979, around 20 million visits was made by people going out from UK, and this number went up steady until it reach near 50 million in 1999. Similar pattern can be seen for visits to UK, but numbers are bit lower, starting from approximately 12 million and going up to about 25 million. When we look at bar graph for 1999, it shows that France was most popular country UK residents visited. More than 10 million visits were made to France, which is much more than other countries. Spain came in second place, getting about 8 million visits from British people. After these two, numbers get smaller quick, with USA, Greece and Turkey all having less than 5 million visits. It is interesting that even though many British people go to France and Spain, these numbers make sense because these countries are close to UK and easy to reach. Also, weather in these places is usually better than in UK, which probably makes them more attractive for holidays. In conclusion, data shows that travel both to and from UK grew lot over years, with European countries being most popular destinations.
The graphs show figures relating to hours worked and stress levels amongst professionals in eight different occupational groups. Write a report for a university lecturer describing the key information shown in the graphs. Write at least 150 words.
I am writing about two graphs which show information about working hours and stress in different jobs. The data come from research about eight professional groups. Looking at first graph, doctors work most hours per week with around 50 hours. They are followed by lawyers and teachers who work between 40-45 hours weekly. Other professions like police and nurses spend less time at work, approximately 35-38 hours every week. The jobs with least working hours are librarians and shop workers, they only work 30 hours. When we look at stress levels graph, it shows interesting pattern. Even though doctors work longest hours, police officers report highest stress at 85%. Doctors come second with stress level of 80%, then nurses and teachers have similar stress around 70%. Shop workers show lowest stress levels at 45% despite having customer contact all day. From these graphs we can see that working longer hours not always mean more stress. For example police officers have most stress but not longest hours. Also some jobs like librarian have both low hours and low stress levels. To conclude, different jobs have very different patterns of working time and stress. Some professions face high levels in both areas while others stay low in both measurements.
In many countries today, women have full-time jobs. Therefore, it is reasonable to share housework equally between men and women. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
I completely agree that housework should be shared equally between men and women when both are working full-time jobs. This essay will explain my reasons for supporting this position and provide examples from my experience. In modern society, more women are getting jobs outside home and working same hours like men. When I think about my own family, my mother works in bank for 40 hours every week, just as my father does in his office. It would not be fair if she must do all cleaning and cooking after coming home tired from work. Both partners bring money to family, so both should help with house duties too. Another important point is that sharing housework make relationship more stronger. From what I see with my friends who got married, couples who help each other with daily tasks have more happy life together. For example, my friend Maria and her husband take turns to cook dinner - one day she cook, next day he cook. They tell me this system works very good for them and they have more time to spend together. Furthermore, when children see their parents sharing responsibilities at home, they learn good values. In my opinion, this is very important for future generation. If young boys see their father helping with housework, they will think it is normal thing to do. Same way, girls will learn they deserve equal treatment in relationship. In conclusion, I strongly believe that equal sharing of housework between men and women who both have full-time jobs is very fair and good for family life. It helps create better relationships, teach children good values, and make life more balanced for everyone in family. This practice should become normal in all modern societies.
Some people say that the best way to improve public health is by increasing the number of sports facilities. Others, however, say that this would have little effect on public health and that other measures are required. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
In today's world, there is big discussion about how we can make people more healthy. While some people think building more sport places is the answer, others believe we need different solutions. I think both ideas have good points, but maybe we need to combine them for best results. Many people say that if we build more sports facilities, public health will get better automatically. When I look at my city, I can see this is true sometimes. Because when they built new swimming pool near my house last year, many of my neighbors started going there regularly. Also, when people see sports places everywhere, they feel like they should use them. This make them do more exercise, which is good for their health. However, other people think just building sports places is not enough to improve health of public. I agree with this view too. In my experience, many people don't use sports facilities even when they are available, because they are too busy or don't know how to exercise properly. For example, my friend has gym near his house but never goes there because he works very long hours. Also, some people need more education about healthy lifestyle, not just places to exercise. From my point of view, we need both approaches to make public health better. First, we should build more sports facilities so people have places to exercise. But at same time, we need to teach people about importance of healthy living and give them knowledge how to use these facilities. Maybe we can also make working hours more flexible so people have time to exercise. To conclude, while increasing sports facilities is important step for improving public health, it cannot work alone. We need to combine it with education and other measures to help people live more healthy lives. Only then we can see real improvement in health of our society.
As computers are being used more and more in education, there will be soon no role for teachers in the classroom. Do you agree or disagree?
I totally disagree with this statement because teachers are very important in education and computers cannot replace them. Even though technology is getting better and better, there are many reasons why teachers will always be needed in classrooms. First of all, computers are just machines that help students learn things, but they cannot understand how students feel. When I was studying in my school, my teacher always knew if I was having troubles with mathematics. She would explain things again and again until I understand everything clearly. A computer program cannot see if student is confused or needs more help with something. Also, teachers give encouragement to students when they are not confident, which makes big difference in learning process. Furthermore, education is not only about learning facts and information from books or internet. In my opinion, teachers help students develop important social skills and good behavior. For example, in my class we often do group projects where we learn how to work together with other students. The teacher shows us how to respect other people opinions and solve problems together. These are things that computers cannot teach because they are about human relationships. Another important point is that teachers can change their teaching methods depending on different situations. Sometimes students need strict guidance, other times they need more freedom to learn by themselves. I remember when our science teacher noticed that we were getting bored with normal lessons, she organized interesting experiments that made us very excited about learning. Computers just follow their programming and cannot adapt teaching style like this. In conclusion, while computers are useful tools for education, they cannot replace human teachers. The role of teachers in helping students learn, develop social skills, and adapt to different learning needs is very important. That is why I believe teachers will always be necessary in classrooms, even with more technology being used.
